Business Development Manager – Parsons & Associates – Remote

**THIS STARTS AS A CONTRACT PART-TIME POSITION**

This is a GREAT opportunity for qualified candidates who desire part-time hours, flexible work schedule, and working remotely. Perfect opportunity for retired or semi-retired candidates, or stay-at-home parents, with sales and business development experience. Although this position starts as a 1099 Contractor status for the first 3 to 6 months, it does have the potential to grow into a full time company employed position for the person who demonstrates commitment and achieves success.

Hours per Week: up to 20, during typical daytime business hours. This position does not support working evenings due to our client base.

Base Pay: $12 – $15 per hour (depending on experience), but also includes attractive commission pay plan and bonus incentive.

Job Duties:

1. Generate sales leads through various methods, including email, LinkedIn, and cold calling. Must be comfortable making cold calls!

2. Follow up with and track potential sales leads.

3. Set-up follow up phone and Zoom discussions between sales leads and company.

Other support services include HR Consulting and Career Transition Support. Our clients come from the following market sectors: Industrial, Healthcare, Construction, and Services. Typical titles of potential sales leads that the Business Development Manager will call upon include CEO/CFO/COO, VP, Director, Executive Director, Administrator, Human Resources Professional, and General Manager.

Candidate Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree or equivalent job relevant experience (see below).

2. Minimum of 2 years experience cold calling potential sales leads.

3. Experience selling HR related services is a definite plus!

4. Must possess exceptional phone selling and customer service skills.

5. Must possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

6. Must be available to work between the hours of 8am and 5pm (based on your residential time zone). Our clients are not accessible after hours.
