Overview

We’re looking to hire a Vice President to help us trade our Repo Stock / Loan book within our Core Rates business. We’re looking for someone with a strong risk management mindset and rates knowledge who has the ability to originate, market and execute trading strategies for our Repo desk.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Deal syndication and risk management of deals on an ongoing basis as well as execute trades in line with our trading strategies

  • Be a multifaceted member of the team in a role that combines being a trader, underwriter, manager and credit analyst

  • Use your strong quantitative abilities, communication skills and negotiation prowess to engage with external clients and develop relationships with internal risk and control functions

  • Lead and mentor junior team members

  • Spearhead origination and product design in conjunction with sales and investment banking divisions

Your Skills and Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in an underwriting, origination or analyst with position 2+ years in a similar trading position

  • Product knowledge of the core rates business

  • A very strong risk management mindset and regulatory knowledge, with the ability to work within trading risk limits

  • Strong client relationships

  • Superior quantitative and interpersonal skills
