Production Operator – Red Spot Paint and Varnish – Evansville, IN

• Color matching
• Batchmaking
• General utility work
• Milling
• Shading
• Shipping/receiving
• Filling of paint batches
• Cleaning tanks, etc.

Production Operators will learn to perform all of these roles, which may allow a wide variety in daily work.

We are currently hiring for the 2nd shift which typically works the hours of 2:30 p.m. – 11 p.m. Overtime opportunities, which may include some Saturdays, are available. Pay is $17.00 per hour plus an additional $.80 shift premium! The first pay increase comes upon completion of the probationary period, and follows a seniority-based pay system thereafter!

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED preferred, or the equivalent with relevant work experience and completion of Company required testing.
• Ability to pass a color deficiency test.
• Ability to work second shift hours.
• Good general problem solving, math skills.
• Successful completion of Pre-Employment testing: Ishihara (color test) and WonScore/Wonderlic; background check which may include: education verification, employment verification, reference check, criminal background check, etc.; Post Offer Physical which may include: drug & alcohol test(s), lift testing requirements, and essential functions testing.
