Ultrasound Technologist – QUICK START!!! – Nationwide Therapy Group – Powell, WY

1. General job duties. Types of procedures required.

The Ultrasound Tech will perform General (small parts, breast, abdomen, thyroid, etc.), OB/GYN, Vascular (Carotid, abdominal, upper and lower venous/arterial studies),also if experience in Cardiac Echo big plus but not required. Review orders, input, interaction with staff , Physicians, and patients.

2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)
Philips Epiq 7, cardiac scanner iU22

3. Required skills and minimum years of experience.
The Ultrasound Tech will perform General (small parts, breast, abdomen, thyroid, etc.), OB/GYN, Vascular (Carotid, abdominal, upper and lower venous/arterial studies),also if experience in Cardiac Echo big plus but not required. Minimum 2 years experience required.

4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)
ARDMS or ARRT at least one registry and competent in all other areas of Ultrasound imaging.

5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?)
The Technologist will work from 7:30am – 4pm, Both weeknight and weekend call is required with the position.

9. Dress Code:
Will need to wear scrubs.

One day orientation program for the hospital (paid). Orientation for the department will be as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: $50.00 per hour

  • Philips Epiq 7, cardiac scanner iU22: 1 year (Required)
  • Ultrasound Technologist : 1 year (Required)

License:

  • BLS/BCLS (Preferred)
  • CRT (Required)
  • ACLS (Preferred)
  • ARRT (Required)
