Receptionist/Billing Clerk – CRH – Saint George, UT

Summary

This is a skilled position requiring the employee to perform a variety of office support functions and also billing support functions for the Accounts Receivable and Accounting Departments.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Answer phones
  • Order office supplies.
  • Route calls to specific people.
  • Answer inquiries about company.
  • Greet visitors warmly and make sure they are comfortable.
  • Call persons waiting for visitor
  • Ensure reception area is tidy.
  • Coordinate mail flow in and out of office.
  • Deliver mail.
  • Take and relay messages.
  • Prepare outgoing mailings and shipments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software preferred: Word, Excel, etc.
  • Minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute.
  • Knowledge of basic office practices and protocol.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Bring sales tickets into Accounting Software to review and correct pricing and any errors
  • Have sales and operations review pricing edits, and get proper approval
  • Post edits and notify Main Billing Department of posting.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; and one or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.


Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write clearly and effectively.


Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.


Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instruction.

Ability to work well with others in a group or one on one setting.


Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have (or be able to quickly gain) knowledge of Internet software, Excel, Word, Outlook, and other company related programs. To perform this job successfully, an individual should be able to type and use keyboards accurately and have a basic knowledge of Database software internet software and Order processing systems.


Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Knowledge of Insurance Certificates would be helpful
