Well established Integrative Medicine Clinic in Northampton treating Chronic Illness and Allergy seeks Certified Medical Assistant. We offer full benefits and competitive salary.
We are seeking a full-time certified medical assistant to work closely with our medical team to support our practitioners. Job duties are varied, including injections, medication review, prior authorizations, managing refills, managing specialty lab kits, and taking vital signs. We prefer at least one year of experience in a medical setting, but we will train you in all aspects of this position. Accuracy, attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills are required.
Currently all patients in the clinic are screened by phone for COVID symptoms; our staff has minimal direct contact with acutely ill patients. All members of our team should be comfortable working independently but able to support one another in our patients’ overall care.
36-38 hrs./week with medical and dental benefits, vacation and sick time.
Starting pay: $20-23/hour negotiable depending on skills and experience.
(Mon, Tues, Thurs 8:30-5:15pm, Wed 11:00-7:00pm, Fri 8:30-12:30pm).
Must be up to date on all required vaccinations, including Covid-19.

All staff, patients and visitors must wear a mask in the building. Only people with scheduled access are allowed into the building – no guests. UV light filters and treated central AC both deter airborne pathogens. Hand sanitizer throughout clinic.

- High school or equivalent (Required)
Experience:
- EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
- Vital signs: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- BLS Certification (Preferred)
