Central PA Physicians Group is looking for a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This position will primarily be at our Altoona location but may require travel on occasion, to one of our other four office locations; Roaring Spring, Bedford or Patton. Central PA Physicians Group offers complete outpatient cardio and vascular care as well as podiatry. This full-time position is Monday through Friday, daytime hours. No weekends or holidays. Cardiology experience is preferred. This position will be primarily responsible for covering the following when needed:
- Assisting with outpatient vascular procedures.
- Rooming patients (obtaining vitals and basic information for their visit with the physician or PA).
- Obtaining prior authorizations for office visits and procedures.
- Handling incoming calls with our call center and directing them to the appropriate staff
- Other nurse duties, such as nurse calls and PT/INR’s.
