Currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for an excellent job opening in the Boonsboro/Hagerstown, MD area. The ideal candidate will possess a current MD RN license and have a minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a long-term care facility.
Available Shifts
- 3p to 11:30 pm – Full time (Monday through Friday)
- 7am to 7pm – Part time (Saturday and Sunday) or 7am to 11:30pm – Full time (Saturday and Sunday)

Requirement of the Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor
- Provides quality nursing care to Residents/residents in an environment that promotes their rights, dignity and freedom of choice.
- Provides supervision to C. N. A’s and all subordinate staff which includes checking their work to ascertain that assignments have been completed.
- Supervises direct care of residents and nursing personnel on his/her shift.
- Gives and receives shift reports.
- Rounds the unit multiple times during the shift to assure proper care is rendered in a safe and clean environment.
- Keeps physicians and families aware of changes in resident’s condition.
- Assists in developing comprehensive care plans.
- Completes medical records documenting care provided and other information in accordance with nursing policies while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Assure that established infection control and standard precaution practices are maintained when providing care. Follow established safety precautions when performing tasks and using equipment and supplies.
- Reports all hazardous conditions, damaged equipment and supply issues to appropriate persons.
- Maintains the comfort, privacy and dignity of Residents/residents and interacts with them in a manner that displays warmth, respect and promotes a caring environment.
- Answer and respond to call lights promptly and courteously.
- Assist with new admissions, re-admissions and assist with the transfer of Residents to different rooms within the facility.
- Communicates and interacts effectively and tactfully with Residents/residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
- Attend and participate in departmental meetings and in-services as directed.
- Communicate with other employees in a private and respectful manner.
- Work and be proficient with certain computer systems designated by the company.
