Manager, Emergency Services / Full-Time / Nights

POSITION SUMMARY

The Unit Manager is a nurse leader who provides direction, planning, implementing and coordinating patient care for assigned area on a 24 hour basis. He/she maintains current knowledge regarding techniques, skills, current practices, and regulations for the age and populations of patients served. He/she manages all personnel, supplies, and equipment necessary to facilitate quality patient care. This manager works collaboratively with the Patient Movement Manager and the Director of Emergency Services to ensure that NC OEMS guideline compliance. Supports and facilitates emergency management for the organization, including pandemic and bio-terrorism activities.

EDUCATION, CREDENTIALS, TRAINING and EXPERIENCE:

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Currently licensed as an RN in North Carolina.
• BSN required.
• Minimum of 3-5 years recent clinical experience.
• Demonstrated supervisory skills.
