Remote Healthcare Contract Specialist

The Healthcare Contract Specialist will be instrumental in managing the full lifecycle of our contracts, from initial RFP (Request for Proposal) drafting through to negotiation, execution, and renewal. This role requires a detailed understanding of healthcare regulations and standards, combined with strong skills in negotiation and contract analysis.

Lead the development, issuance, and analysis of RFPs, ensuring alignment with healthcare industry standards and company needs. Negotiate terms with suppliers, partners, and service providers, ensuring contracts are favorable and compliant with healthcare regulations. Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, including implementation, compliance monitoring, renewal, and termination processes. Maintain strong relationships with vendors and partners, ensuring alignment with contract terms and performance expectations. Ensure all contracts and procurement activities comply with relevant healthcare laws, regulations, and standards. Work closely with legal, finance, and healthcare teams to align contract strategies with organizational goals and compliance requirements. Monitor and report on contract performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and cost savings.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Healthcare Administration, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in contract management, procurement, or a similar role within the healthcare industry. Deep understanding of the healthcare sector, including regulatory requirements and industry standards. Experience managing the full lifecycle of contracts, from RFP to renewal. Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex vendor relationships. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office.
