We are currently seeking a dynamic, highly skilled, and self-motivated Healthcare Attorney to join our legal team on a permanent basis. This is a remote position, offering a unique opportunity for the right candidate to utilize their expertise in healthcare law from the comfort of their own home. With a focus on healthcare regulations, contract review, anti-kickback laws, HIPAA, HITECH, physician corporate entity formation, false claims, and Stark law, this role is ideal for a seasoned attorney who is well-versed in the legal aspects of the healthcare industry. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

As a Healthcare Attorney, you will be tasked with:

1. Providing legal advice and counsel to our organization on complex legal issues within the healthcare industry.
2. Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts and agreements related to healthcare.
3. Ensuring compliance with healthcare laws and regulations, including HIPAA, HITECH, anti-kickback laws, Stark law, and false claims.
4. Advising on physician corporate entity formation and other corporate matters.
5. Conducting legal research and analysis, and developing strategies to resolve high-risk issues.
6. Collaborating with other departments to ensure legal, financial, and business strategies are aligned with company goals.
7. Keeping abreast of current legislation and regulatory changes that may affect the company and its operations.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a healthcare attorney.
3. Licensed to practice law in the state.
4. Extensive knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations, including HIPAA, HITECH, anti-kickback laws, Stark law, and false claims.
5. Proven experience in contract review, drafting, and negotiation.
6. Strong understanding of physician corporate entity formation.
7. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
8. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues in a clear, concise manner.
9. Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
10. Ability to work remotely and maintain a high level of productivity and professionalism.
