We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Project Manager to join our growing team in the construction industry. This role is specifically focused on healthcare construction, including ground-up hospital construction, and requires a deep understanding of the ACHA (Agency for Health Care Administration) standards. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will be working alongside our experienced team of professionals, contributing to the successful delivery of complex and challenging healthcare construction projects.

Responsibilities:

As an Assistant Project Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

1. Assisting in managing all aspects of construction projects, including ground-up hospital construction, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
2. Collaborating with project teams to develop comprehensive project plans, including scheduling, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
3. Maintaining strict adherence to ACHA standards and regulations throughout all stages of the project.
4. Coordinating and communicating effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal team members.
5. Contributing to the preparation of project reports and documentation, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.
6. Assisting in the resolution of project-related issues and challenges, utilizing problem-solving skills and industry knowledge.
7. Participating in project meetings, providing updates and insights to support informed decision-making.
8. Supporting the Project Manager in ensuring the highest levels of safety, quality, and efficiency in all project activities.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Assistant Project Manager role will possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, such as Assistant Project Manager or Sr. PE, within the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in healthcare construction, particularly in ground-up hospital construction.
3. Detailed knowledge of ACHA standards and regulations, with a track record of ensuring strict compliance in project activities.
4. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse project teams.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate project challenges and deliver solutions.
7. A degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
8. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
