Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes, including the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements
  • Monitor and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring that invoices are submitted and processed in a timely manner and that payments are received in accordance with the lease terms
  • Coordinate with property managers and leasing agents to ensure that financial reports are accurate and that lease administration and reconciliation processes are executed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Perform analysis of property financial performance including revenue and expense comparisons to budget and forecast and projection analysis as needed to identify and mitigate variances
  • Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures and guidelines for accounting-related activities and financial reporting for the company and its various properties
  • Collaborate in creating annual operating and capital expense budgets, project capital expenditures and other items as needed with input from property teams
  • Responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance in tax and other areas and maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Maintaining third-party Excel templates for lease administration and analysis purposes
  • Work cross functionally with other teams in the company including Property Management, Asset Management, and other departments
