Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Sr. Quality Data Analyst to join our healthcare team. This role is instrumental in ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of health data. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving continuous improvements in data quality. The Sr. Quality Data Analyst will work across the organization to identify areas of improvement, develop strategies to address these areas, and oversee the execution of these strategies.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement data quality standards and processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of health data.
2. Collaborate with various teams to identify data quality issues and develop strategies to address these issues.
3. Oversee the execution of data quality strategies to ensure they are effectively addressing identified issues.
4. Monitor and report on the status of data quality initiatives, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
5. Work closely with IT and other relevant teams to ensure data systems and tools are designed and functioning to support data quality.
6. Lead and manage a team of data quality analysts, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
7. Stay current on industry trends and best practices in data quality management and incorporate these into the organization’s data quality strategy.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analysis, Healthcare, or IT; Master’s preferred
2. RHIT and/or CHDA certifications preferrred
3. Experience with EMR Systems such as Athena One, EPIC or Cerner
4. Prefer 2 or more years of Data Quality experience preferably in the healthcare industry
5. Strong understanding of data quality principles and practices
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically
8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex data issues to a variety of audiences
9. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and other data analysis tools
