We are on the hunt for a highly skilled and experienced Permanent Construction Healthcare Estimator to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment and has a passion for construction and healthcare. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in the preconstruction phase of our healthcare-related projects, including hospitals, medical centers, and primary care facilities. With your expertise in the construction industry, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates and proposals that will contribute to the successful completion of our projects.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze architectural plans and project documents to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Use software such as Procore, Buildertrend, Exactimate, Buildxact, Planswift, and Heavybid to manage and streamline the estimating process.
• Prepare and submit bidding proposals for healthcare construction projects, ensuring all bids are accurate, competitive, and timely.
• Coordinate preconstruction services such as take-offs, bid packages, and subcontractor selections.
• Review and evaluate cost estimates to ensure high accuracy and comprehensiveness.
• Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and team members regarding new and current projects.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in healthcare construction.
• Participate in proposal presentations and client meetings.
• Work closely with the project management team to ensure that projects are following the estimated plan and budget.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably within the healthcare sector.
• Proficient in construction estimating software including Procore, Buildertrend, Exactimate, Buildxact, Planswift, and Heavybid.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal requirements.
• Exceptional analytical and mathematical skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications.
• Proven track record of creating successful cost estimates and winning bids.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in healthcare construction projects such as hospitals, medical centers, and primary care facilities is a plus.
