IT Firm that provides cutting edge software for the Healthcare industry is growing it’s Finance Team. We are looking for a Senior Accountant with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Full Cycle Accounting at a mid size company. Ideal experience would include heavy month end close, financial reporting, audit support and experience in QuickBooks and Salesforce.

This is a mostly remote position, but you need to be close to the Framingham area so you can commute into office a few times a month for projects. So local applicants only should apply.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in the IT/Healthcare sector of the Scientific industry. This role will be a key player in the financial management of the company, responsible for the preparation and analysis of monthly financials, reconciliations, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and a knack for numbers. Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and review monthly financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
2. Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
3. Manage the month-end close process, including the preparation of journal entries and accruals.
4. Assist with year-end audit preparations and liaise with external auditors.
5. Utilize QuickBooks, Bill.com, Salesforce, CashPro, and Navan for various accounting and financial tasks.
6. Oversee the billing process, ensuring invoices are issued and payments are received in a timely manner.
7. Maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
8. Analyze income statements to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
9. Collaborate with the IT team to enhance financial systems and processes.
10. Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
11. Oversee the accounts payable, including coding and paying invoices and vendor management,

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
3. Proficiency in QuickBooks, Bill.com, Salesforce, CashPro, and Navan.
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including balance sheets, income statements, accruals, and reconciliations.
5. Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
7. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
9. Experience with month-end close and year-end audit procedures.
10. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
