We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Senior Superintendent to join our team in the healthcare division of our construction industry. This role will focus on the successful execution of healthcare construction projects, including hospital remodels, ground-up construction, expansions, and additions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of OSHPD regulations and extensive experience in seismic retrofitting, behavioral hospital construction, and healthcare tower projects.

Responsibilities:

As a Permanent Senior Superintendent, you will be responsible for the following:

• Overseeing all stages of project life cycle and ensuring that all project goals are met while adhering to approved budgets.
• Managing and leading a team of construction workers and subcontractors.
• Ensuring all construction activities align with the requirements of the OSHPD.
• Coordinating with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
• Ensuring safety regulations and protocols are strictly followed at the construction site.
• Managing the day-to-day on-site operations, including scheduling, planning, and coordinating construction activities.
• Conducting regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
• Resolving any potential issues or work delays to maintain project schedule.
• Communicating project progress to stakeholders and providing regular status reports.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Senior Superintendent position must possess the following qualifications:

• A minimum of 10+ years’ experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry, with a focus on healthcare construction.
• Demonstrated experience in hospital remodels, ground-up construction, expansions, and additions.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of OSHPD regulations.
• Proven experience in seismic retrofitting, behavioral hospital construction, and healthcare tower projects.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and manage project risks effectively.
• Proven track record of completing projects on time and within budget.
• Strong understanding of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
• Proficient in construction software programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be willing to travel as needed.
