We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Superintendent-Life Science and Healthcare to join our team in the Construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in managing large-scale healthcare and life science construction projects, with a particular emphasis on ground-up hospital construction. The Permanent Superintendent-Life Science and Healthcare will oversee all stages of project life-cycles, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the future of healthcare and life science construction. Large Project Experience Ground Up a MUST! $75M+

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of construction project management, including planning, coordination, and execution of life science and healthcare construction projects.
• Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget.
• Directly supervise all on-site construction, including scheduling of workers, delivery of equipment, and progress of work.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and other legal and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
• Conduct quality control checks, identifying any potential issues or problems and resolving them promptly.
• Prepare and submit progress reports, budget reports, and other documentation as required.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in the Construction industry, with a specific focus on Healthcare and Life Science construction.
• Proven experience in ground-up hospital construction is a must.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety protocols.
• Proficient with construction management software and other industry-related technologies.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong client-facing and teamwork skills.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
