In this position you’ll report to the Marketing Manager and Strategist, working closely with our Brand and Communications Specialist, Digital Marketing Coordinator and Sales Team. We are a passionate and fast-moving group with big ideas and the skills to see them through.

About the Job:

In the first 90 days on the job you’ll familiarize yourself with our industry, product lines, target audiences and existing CRM and ERP systems. You’ll take over monthly reporting duties and system backups.

By the first six months you’ll be managing episodic requests for reports and work towards becoming our subject matter expert in Salesforce. You’ll bring ideas to team meetings and help identify ways we can improve. You’ll manage relationships with data processors and vendors and know where to go to find the information you need. You will become a critical member of the team related to General Services Administration (GSA), Electronic Commerce Acquisition team (eCAT) and other client agreements. You’ll start to understand which data points are the most meaningful for our team. 

A year from now? You’ll be a go-to person on the marketing team for helping our sales representatives find the information they need, generating strategic reports for various departments, and even assisting with research for R&D and Engineering. You’ll be a Salesforce pro, navigating the platform with ease and optimizing our input and output for the best results.

General Summary of the Position

The Marketing Analyst is part of an overall process to continuously improve the sales and marketing strategy for the company.   Responsibilities include leading data driven projects and building a systematic marketing approach while creating structure and priority within the sales and marketing functions. This includes analysis of customer and consumer data to identify trends, patterns, and insights, engagement with contract negotiators including government contracts, as well as upselling opportunities, white space opportunities, and product development, while leveraging and managing the existing CRM platform. This position requires a candidate with an analytical and creative mindset, capable of developing marketing and sales analysis, strategies and developing new and creative ways to approach customers. This is a resource for all members of the sales and marketing team and can be based in Columbia, SC or remote.

  • Must be able to use typical office equipment including, but not limited to, telephone, fax machine, copier, and computer.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Demonstrated ability to develop data-driven structured sales and marketing strategies
  • Proven ability to think creatively and build data sets to assist with strategic decisions
  • Must possess strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all levels within a fast-paced, dynamic organization
  • Leading CRM experience (Salesforce preferred)
  • General knowledge of healthcare purchasing processes

Education, Training, and Experience

  • 3 or more years of professional sales and marketing analysis experience preferably in the healthcare systems industry and direct to surgeons and clinicians
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred
