Dietary Assistant (PRN) – Float Team – Volunteers of America – Minneapolis, MN

Volunteers of America National Services MN Float Team is looking for Rockstar’s to join our team!

The MN Float Team is a team of experienced professionals that assist in the facilities that we serve in Minneapolis, Rochester, Sleepy Eye, and surrounding areas.

As a PRN Dietary Assistant, you will have ultimate flexibility in your schedule, have opportunity for growth, short term blocks may be available. Work as little as 4 shifts per month or full time hours, it is YOUR choice.

One (1) year of experience is required – you must be willing to work at any VOA facility that has a need.

  • Assists in food preparation and ensures dining room is ready for service
  • Daily interaction and conversation with residents while serving them meals

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Must be willing to work in a Healthcare /Senior Living environment that is taking precautions for COVID-19.
  • 1 year of prior food service experience is required.
  • Ability to read in English and understand procedures used for work assignments, instructions, recipe directions and diet order cards.
  • Ability to utilize computers and other electronic devices for tasks such as timekeeping, in-servicing and documentation.
