Status: PRN – Fridays & Mondays
Pay: $27+ per hour, depending on experience & qualifications

As a CT Technologist at SimonMed, you will be trained on the latest CT technology, including Dual Energy and iterative reconstruction. SimonMed is committed to becoming the Nation’s leading provider for low dose CT. You will gain experience in a variety of specialized exams including but not limited to: Coronary CTAs, Dual Energy Metal Suppression, and Kidney stone quantification.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail

• Obtain patient history, explains standard procedures and addresses patient concerns

• Produce computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as required by the departmental procedures

• Perform duties directly involved with a range of technical procedures applying ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology

• Regulate the equipment used to expose the x-ray film, develops and documents PACS imaging

• Operate equipment safely and maintains SimonMed standards while performing call types of procedures

• Establish and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, and facility staff

• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures

• Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

• Work under general supervision

• Additional duties as assigned

What We Need from You:

• Requires registration as an RT and CT Technologist by the A.R.R.T.

• SimonMed Imaging requires valid CPR certification

• High school degree or equivalent required

• 3 years of experience preferred

• Employee Type: Full-time, Part-time and PRN positions available
