Obstetrics and Gynecology office in need of an Medical Assistant to join our team.
Preparing patients for examinations including vital signs, injections and phlebotomy
Update medical history including pharmacy and medications as needed
Must be confident and knowledgeable explaining medical labs and procedures to patients including obtaining appropriate consent forms
E-prescribing and/or calling in prescriptions to pharmacies
Collect and process laboratory specimens
Sterilize medical instruments Process disability, FMLA and other forms as necessary
Experience with E-Clinical Works EMR
Job Type: Full-time 7:45AM to 5:00PM
Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
