*** Our client is looking to hire a Substance Abuse Counselor in the Wareham, MA area. Must have a master’s degree and at least 6 years of experience. ***
Schedule: FT, must be flexible
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions in an outpatient setting
- Provides pre-screening to determined level of services warranted
- Provides telephone support, referrals, education and consultation to consumers
- Performs crisis evaluations, utilizing crisis evaluation instrument to conduct interviews
- Performs short-term crisis follow-ups and crisis stabilization for consumers
- Demonstrates the ability the join with clients and families in distress and work with them
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree required
- At least 2 years of counseling experience
- At least 1 year of working within an outpatient setting
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.50 – $27.80 per hour
