Healing at Hidden River is a behavioral health organization located in Chester Township, New Jersey, treating young women and girls struggling with eating disorders. The Healing at Hidden River campus has a storied history of over 40 years as a premier and serene site providing mental healthcare and education to varied populations. In 2019, Healing at Hidden River became the first residential treatment provider in New Jersey for girls and young women with Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder and other eating disorder diagnoses, as well as related diagnoses.
We are seeking therapists who desire real-world experience and expert training to join the team at our residential treatment center. The ideal candidates would preferably, although not necessarily, have a working knowledge of eating disorders and related treatment interventions.
The Primary Therapist is responsible for providing individual, group, and family therapy that is comprehensive, effective and in accordance with program protocols. The Primary Therapist works in tandem with the rest of the multidisciplinary treatment team by completing bio-psycho-social assessments; identifying treatment goals and completing weekly treatment plans; communicating with various department personnel and with outside providers; maintaining the electronic medical record for each patient’s progress in thorough detail after each therapeutic session; and facilitating the development of an aftercare plan. The Primary Therapist is responsible for overseeing each assigned patient’s progress and coordinating the patient’s care.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must possess a New Jersey LSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC, LAMFT, LMFT, or Practicing Psychologist License. We provide clinical supervision for all therapists and offer reimbursement for licensure supervision for non-independently licensed therapists (LSW, LAC, and LAMFT). Our leadership team includes several of the field’s leading experts in eating disorder treatment, and we offer supervision specific to becoming a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS).
We offer highly competitive salary bases. The pay range for non-independently licensed therapists starts at $68,000 and the pay range for independently licensed therapists starts at $75,000. Based on clinical and eating disorder experience, a higher initial salary may be possible. Benefits include licensure supervision fee reimbursement (for non-independently licensed therapists), health, dental, vision, and life insurance, and PTO.
