Participant Programs Manager – Broomfield Fish Food Bank and Family Resource Center – Broomfield, CO

Broomfield FISH (Fellowship in Serving Humanity) is a food bank and family resource center whose mission is to meet our neighbors’ basic human needs and provide them with the hope and tools to rise out of poverty. FISH is based in Broomfield, CO and provides food, emergency financial assistance and one-on-one support and referrals to low income county residents.

The Participant Programs Manager is a full-time position responsible for the oversight, development, and evaluation of participant services programming. This role supervises the Participant Services team and reports to the Executive Director. The focus will be on coordinating team functions and team members to ensure big picture goals are met, as well as facilitating regular team communication and tracking team metrics and program budgets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development, implementation, and management of FISH’s Strategic Plan priorities – help lead the strategic vision of the Participant Services Team.
  • Manage Participant Services Team staff to ensure quality of service, cohesion, collaboration, and success of programming and outcomes
  • Provide excellent direct supervision to staff, including coaching, evaluation, and support of professional development.
  • Oversee the coordination and implementation of all FISH participant programming and activities.
  • Ensure safe, supportive, trauma-informed, strengths-based case management for FISH participants.
  • Identify, plan, and participate in activities designed to enhance skills and abilities required for professional growth of Participant Services staff.
  • Manage Participant Services grant contracts including budget management, reporting, and fulfillment of outcomes and expectations
  • Monitor financial reports in collaboration with the Executive Director to ensure program spending is within limits and/or variances are evaluated and managed.
  • Track, manage, and analyze participant program data metrics. Regularly review staff data entry for quality assurance.
  • Act as a liaison between FISH and partner organizations. Represent FISH at community events, meetings and speaking engagements, as requested.
  • Maintain data and information needed for FRCA membership, grant applications and reporting. Use Salesforce as a tool to improve program quality, efficiency and efficacy.
  • Oversee program evaluation and maintain accurate records per program requirements.
  • Fill in for Advocates doing direct work with participants, as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Human Services, or other Social Services Field.
  • A minimum of 4 years job-related, management experience.
  • Supervisory experience and leadership ability.
  • Experience working with families from diverse economic, social, racial and cultural backgrounds.
  • Proficient with Google Suite applications and Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage data. Knowledge of Salesforce preferred.
  • Complete strengths-based service delivery training, Motivational Interviewing training, and Colorado Family Strengthening Assessment training upon hire.
  • Bilingual Spanish Fluency preferred

Work Environment: FISH uses a strengths-based, teaming approach and values a positive, supportive work environment. Position is 40 hours/week, generally Monday through Friday during regular business hours. Occasional weekend hours/flex time may be required.

Compensation: Range of pay is $57,000 to $61,000 commensurate with experience. Health and dental benefits, plus a generous Paid Time Off (PTO) policy.
