ABA Solutions is searching for committed and compassionate individuals experienced in supporting children with Autism and other developmental disorders. Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) assist in delivering behavior analysis services and practice under the direction and close supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This is an entry-level position with 40-hour training provided for certification as an RBT for qualified applicants.
RBTs who join ABA Solutions benefit from autonomy in choosing cases that best fit their experience and will enjoy working with a team of behavior analysts who provide exceptional training and guidance. Those pursuing higher education also have access to more specialized supervision and training. Full-time and part-time employee positions are available for RBTs at the Impact Academy location in Seffner. This position provides a multitude of opportunities to serve diverse cases and clients while receiving opportunities for direct supervision from knowledgeable and committed BCBAs. We work primarily with children with Autism, ranging in ages and abilities and provide services in the school and classroom setting.
Requirements
- Work, personal or volunteer experience interacting with individuals with Autism and/or special needs.
- Must have High School Diploma
- Must be able to complete 40-hour training in 3 week time period.
RBT Duties
- Provide direct therapy, in-home, to children with Autism, under the direction of a BCBA
- Implement behavior treatment plans and skill acquisition procedures including (but not limited to), VB-MAPP or ABLLS-R programming, AFLS programming, and leisure skill programs
- Graph data
- Conduct caregiver training to parents and provide feedback to improve caregiver performance of skills.
- Maintain RBT certification according to the BACB requirements and adhere to BACB Ethical Guidelines.
