JOB DESCRIPTION: Manages the overall day-to-day operations of a defined clinical practice within ESA. Coordinates activities within the Practice to maintain an effective operating environment. Ensures compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines. In conjunction with Practice leadership, is accountable for activities that will enhance operational efficiencies (including the use of EeMR), improve patient satisfaction and result in cost effective healthcare solutions. Evaluates Practice operations and workflow performance and makes necessary improvements. Manages the achievement of Practice performance targets and financial goals in alignment with local physician leadership and ESA leadership. Performs other related duties as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree required. A Master’s degree in related field may be substituted for 2 years of experience. 2-4 years healthcare operations, business or administrative experience required, preferably in an ambulatory setting. Other equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience may be considered.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1-10 lbs 0-33% of the work day (occasionally), negligible 34-66% of the workday (frequently), negligible 67-100% of the workday (constantly). Lifting 10 lbs max, carrying of small articles such as dockets, ledgers, files, small tools, occasional standing & walking, frequent sitting, close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing), Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.

ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS: Factors affecting environment conditions may vary depending on the assigned work area and tasks. Environmental exposures include, but are not limited to: Blood-borne pathogen exposure, Bio-hazardous waste. chemicals/gases/fumes/vapors, communicable diseases, electrical shock, floor surfaces, hot/cold temperatures, indoor/outdoor conditions, latex, lighting patient care/handling injuries, radiation, shift work, travel may be required, use of personal protective equipment, including respirators, environmental conditions may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
