Job Description: As a Receiving Warehouse Associate, you will work in the warehouse to load product off of semi trucks, label them appropriately and store the product in the warehouse. The Receiving team works together to complete a variety of tasks efficiently and effectively.
Job Responsibilities:
- Properly handle the product while moving it from one location to another
- Continually meet the monthly standard for the amount of product to be moved
- Maintain a high level of accuracy when receiving and placing product in the racks
- Communicate with supervisor, team members and with other departments in a professional manner
- Follow all operational and safety procedures
- Perform additional duties and functions as required
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Strong follow-through abilities
- Track record of longevity with previous employers
- Warehouse experience a plus
Physical expectations:
- Walking or standing for long periods of time
- Frequent bending and lifting
- Work at varying heights (up to 32 feet high)
- Pushing and pulling objects
- Able to lift up to 150 lbs. and more with assistance
Environmental conditions:
- Will work indoors in a warehouse
- Conditions may include hot/cold temperatures, dusty surroundings and noisy work environment
