This multispecialty organization has 15 locations within San Diego County and 7 locations within the greater Los Angeles area and we are rapidly expanding. As Medical Scribe you will be part of a team that strives to uphold Genesis Healthcare Partners mission to providing the highest level of care. You will be responsible for the clerical and information technology function for the physicians in the Urology office . The primary role is to assist the physicians with documentation of the patient’s medical charts and entering the information into the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) during their visit .

What you will be doing

A ccompany the provider into the patient examination area in order to transcribe the patients’ medical history and patients visit .

Provide real-time charting for physicians

Data Entry for physicians

What you will bring to the team

Experience working in a healthcare setting, strongly preferred

Strong k nowledge of medical terminology

Experience working with an EMR system , a plus

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
