SCHOOL NURSE FOR CONTACT TRACING EXTRA-CURRICULAR
JOB TITLE: School Nurse
LOCATION: Taylor County Middle School
TO WHOM RESPONSIBLE: Nursing Supervisor/ Principal
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing-Registered Nurse
- License and West Virginia School Nurse Certification required
- Contact tracing training
DURATION: Rest of the 2021-2022 School Year
RATE OF PAY: Hourly rate of pay for direct services; After School Hours
FUNDING SOURCE: ARP
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with principals, teachers, bus drivers, central office contacts, and the Health Department to conduct contact tracing for COVID cases.
- Verify accuracy of records at the school level to assist with contact tracing
- Work with administration to communicate necessary information to students and families
