Honeywell Safety and Productivity Solutions (SPS)’Advanced SensingTechnologies (AST) is looking for a world-class leader for its new consolidatedHealthcare organization. AST is bringing together its multiple Healthcare businessesand needs a highly motivated, results-oriented business leader with abackground in Healthcare to drive the business forward. The Leader reports tothe President of AST and will hold end to end responsibility for all facets ofthe P&<, as well as ownership of the product roadmap, portfolio lifecycleand all growth activities. The focus will be on accelerated growth by leveragingsynergies between the businesses as well as delivering innovation and brand-newmarkets/applications and deepening relationships with the existing customerbase. She or he will work closely with a cross functional team of technology,sales, marketing, manufacturing, and compliance experts to deliver strongresults.

This keyexecutive role will report to the President of the Advanced SensingTechnologies business and will be a member of the AST Leadership Team locatedin Richardson, Texas. There will be significant visibility of this role and theresults to both SPS and Honeywell Corporate leadership, so it is an excellentopportunity for an ambitious leader to kick start a great career withHoneywell.

Thisgrowth-oriented role will have significant customer-facing engagement inleading and managing several key high-profile programs in addition todeveloping new technologies and solutions. A zeal for customer satisfaction andbuilding deep relationships to garner results is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Healthcare leaderwill own the business and performance across the entire product life cycle,including marketing, product management, research & development,operations, business development & sales, and regulatory & complianceall within a technical environment.  Sheor he will have a solid understanding of their market position, competition,and trends to enter into new markets to successfully achieve superior financialresults as compared to peers in the industry.

  • Develop new product strategies, roadmaps, go-to-market strategies, and product improvements across business lines aligned with the overall healthcare strategy
  • Drive breakthrough initiatives and new product introductions across business lines using structured strategy deployment that provides for commercialization and quick execution
  • Deliver on revenue growth, margin expansion, cost control and aggressive time-to-market commitments toward achievement of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and program commitments
  • Drives strategy execution that includes product cost and pricing optimization, customer &
    market segmentations, channel management, RDE investments, acceleratingproduct life-cycle improvements and developing differentiated valuepropositions
  • Use Z21 methodologies to create and evaluate business cases for launch. Convert Voice-of-Customer and differentiated technologies to market-back requirements and industry-leading system solutions.
  • Build out business development expertise and the global sales functions aligned to deliver on growth targets
  • Expand the regulatory and compliance process across the business lines to support Federal Drug Administration requirements and new go-to-market strategies
  • Develops and executes creative sourcing and supply chain strategies to support New Product Introduction, as well as legacy/late cycle product cost, inventory, and on-time delivery.
  • Coordinates with ISC/Sourcing in support of supplier negotiations and performance management for delivery, quality, cost, inventory, and reliability, including supporting structured transition management.
  • Successfully leads the management operating systems to milestones, metrics and risk mitigation with customer engagement and disciplined scope management 
  • Establishes and nurtures effective executive business relationships with key customers and suppliers/partners
  • Supports AST President and team in leading the strategy and annual operating plans for the business

YOU HAVE

  •  An undergraduate degree in business, engineering, or another technical domain.
  • Strong, demonstrable commercial acumen.
  • Master of Business Administration preferred. Blackbelt, Lean or PMP certifications preferred
  • 10+ years leadership, strategy deployment, operations, business management, sales or program management experience
  • Significant experience with a large, global healthcare organization
  • Healthcare experience within a start-up organization / start-up business within a large organization
  • Demonstrated experience leading healthcare products from design through to execution
