Responsibilities


St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center offers state of the art equipment for medical imaging in the CT SCAN DEPARTMENT. The department is extremely fast-paced and focuses on exceptional patient care while living the mission, vision and values of CHW. The department provides 24/7 coverage with options on multiple shifts. There is a high volume of emergency and trauma exams as well as interventional procedures. We also provide education and training on the latest technology with a focus on cardiac and brain perfusion imaging. As a part of an academic medical center, we collaborate with radiologists, neuroradiologists, residents and fellows in all aspects of general, neurological and research imaging. JOIN US NOW as we are seeking a CT TECHNOLOGIST II who is passionate about the health and well-being of our patients to perform CT scanning, recommend performance improvement activities and assist in equipment and procedure evaluations.

Located in Phoenix, AZ, this position is critical to the success of St. Joseph’s Hospital Medical Center and requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Dignity Health.


Qualifications


REQUIREMENTS:

Completion of approved American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or equivalent approved Radiologic Technologist Program, Medical Radiologic Technologist Board of Examiners (MRTBE),

ARRT (CT) certification and AHA BLS required.

Three years of CT experience strongly preferred.

Additional requirements for Barrow Emergency Stroke Unit: Current valid AZ Driver’s License with satisfactory DMV report on file.
