Position Overview
C&S Wholesale Grocers desires to create the most safe, efficient, and service providing experience in the country. As a Professional Driver with C&S Wholesale Grocers, you will start your driving career with the company by working with a Professional Driver Trainer (PDT) who will provide coaching and
insight on the C&S Way which includes company and regulatory requirements. Once you have
successfully completed our new hire training program, you will maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through deliveries of product and services while performing all other assigned duties. All functions must be completed in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

What you’ll do
- Drive a tractor-trailer (semi-truck/eighteen-wheeler) combination, applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations, to transport and deliver products to our customers across your region
- Make an average of 6-8 stops per day to deliver our products
- Maneuver your rig into a loading or unloading position
- *Weigh your vehicle as needed en route and/or at vendors to document weight and conform to state/company regulations

What you need
- 1 year of recent driving with a Class A CDL.
- 1 year of recent tractor-trailer experience.
- A valid DOT medical card
- *Ability to pass a background and drug screen in accordance with DOT regulations
