Sr. Healthcare Business Systems Analyst

SDLC Management, Inc., in Pittsburgh, PA seeks Sr. Healthcare Business Systems Analyst (MULTIPLE OPENINGS). The Sr. Healthcare Business Systems Analyst is Responsible for analysis, design, development and implementation of the clients proprietary systems and databases using Oracle, DB2, Teradata and tools, such as IBM Datastage, Toad, Advanced Query, MS Project and development languages, including UNIX, SQL or ASP.NET,C#. Specific duties include: working with a wide array of Business and IT management teams to define business requirements and technical approaches to solve complex business problems; performing strategic business activities by assisting with the development and implementation of enterprise information systems; conducting research work in conjunction with various cross functional teams to identify key issues and point to specific business areas; carrying out structured analysis and/or design; translating insights into opportunities; envisioning strategies and trends at a business level to either identify novel opportunities and envision means for achieving them, or identifying organic opportunities within projects for additional service offerings; interfacing with the business areas, customers, partners, vendors, technical staff and project teams to drive value, return on investments, and devising innovative solutions, including providing alternative solutions, including vendor solution acquisitions, with maximum benefits while reducing cost (e.g. cost benefit analysis, pros/cons of solutions); applying knowledge of current and emerging technologies; and devising enhancements to existing systems. Requires a master’s degree in Management Information Systems, Biotechnology Management or closely related Management degree, or bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Biotechnology Management or closely related Management degree, together with five (5) years of progressively responsible work experience in the position offered or directly related.
