We’re seeking an exceptional Registered Nurse for the role of Quality Assurance/Infection Control RN! Requirements:
- Current/valid RN license from state licensing board
- Applicant must possess strong clinical, communication and organization skills
- Infection control experience preferred
QA/Infection Control RN Schedule:
- Day Shift
- Monday-Friday
- 8-hour shifts
- Full-time
QA/Infection Control RN Job duties:
- Interpret department policies and procedures to employees, residents, visitors, government agencies, etc.
- Complete forms, reports, evaluations, studies, etc. related to facility operations.
- Assist in the identification of indicators and development of ways to monitor topics to be reviewed.
- Assist in the development of monitoring tools and data collection methodology.
- Assist in the review and evaluation of data, determining presence or absence of opportunities for improvement of care.
- Assist in the determination of causes and actions when opportunities for improvement are identified.
- Assist in documenting and reporting Continuous Quality Improvement activities.
- Make recommendations when quality assurance activities can be combined with other activities.
- Review information from third-party payer and outside accrediting bodies and make recommendations that departments/services can review or monitor if necessary.
- Organize and make available reports for Continuous Quality Improvement Committee.
- Assure MDS and quarterly updates are complete.
- Assure care plans are complete.
