Certified Pharmacy Technician – Compounding Pharmacy

We are looking for a qualified individual with a positive attitude to join our team at a compounding pharmacy in Lake Oswego as a full time Compounding Technician. Here at CCP we specialize in high quality compounded medications which are customized to offer solutions when commercially available products do not fit our customer’s needs. We offer a fast-paced, team based, respectful and fun environment in an office surrounded by restaurants and shops.

As a full time (Monday through Friday, hours TBD) Pharmacy Technician you are responsible for filling or compounding medication and other healthcare products for patients in a controlled lab environment accurately and in a timely manner. Pay dependent on experience and licensing/certification.

Responsibilities:

  • Filling orders from stock or measuring dosage of medication and compounding various medications as per the prescription order and processing through our software program.
  • Responsible for accurately labeling and recording dosage information and monitoring storage and inventory of medications and supplies.
  • Maintaining clean and orderly workstation and supplies
  • Working with the Pharmacists to address any issues or questions on formulations
  • Working closely with the other Lab Technicians and Lab Managers to get product out on time
  • Maintaining equipment and reporting excursions
  • Staying on top of required documentation and training

Qualifications:

  • Current Oregon Pharmacy Technician License or Certification required
  • Reliable and with experience in a pharmacy environment; prior compounding experience helpful
  • Ability to adhere to ethical standards of conduct as well as applicable state and federal laws
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to provide effective and professional written, oral, nonverbal communication with colleagues of all departments and management
  • Ability to follow detailed directions both verbal and written
  • Must have a good attitude and work well with a team
  • Must possess a strong work ethic and ability to multitask; focus on efficiency
  • Excellent organizational skills

Typical Physical Demands:

Requires using your hands and fingers to handle, grasp, move, control or feel objects, tools or controls. Requires sitting, standing for long periods of time, bending, twisting and reaching. Repetitive movements are an integral part of the role. Good vision is required to accurately process orders, etc. May require lifting up to 50 pounds.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour
