WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As a Polisher for Stone Systems you are going to be responsible for operating polishing equipment to obtain desired polish and luster on parts and products.

Job Expectations

Polish material/parts to correct defects or to prepare surfaces for further finishing, using hand and power tools
Apply pressure to polish, glaze, and buff while making sure dimensions stay the same
Verify quality of finished work pieces by inspecting, comparing to templates, measuring dimensions, and marking any defects for possible rework
Ensure proper use of equipment
Work in a collaborative environment by helping coworkers in other stations if needed
Maintain a clean station
Responsible for wearing all personal protective equipment (safety glasses, ear plugs, waterproof gear, face mask, etc.)
Ensure safety procedures are followed
Other duties as assigned

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

EXPERIENCE
Desired

Experience in fabricating Marble, Granite and Quartz
Experience in Construction, Industrial and Manufacturing fields
Experience in material polishing
Experience operating Forklift

EDUCATION
Required

High School Diploma/GED

KNOWLEDGES
Required

Basic knowledges in math (adding, subtracting, measurements, etc)
Basic knowledge in maintenance

SKILLS
Required

Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs.
