Incident Management Project Manager – Emerging Tech, LLC – Washington, DC

Emerging Tech is seeking a a technically savvy and high-energy professional CMO Business Operations Post Go-Live Incident Project Manager to support a federal government client. The successful candidate will manage critical, day to day project activities, proactively manage risks and issues, and collaborate with technical and non-technical team members. This individual should have the ability to quickly earn the trust of key internal and external stakeholders, lead and inspire teams, set project direction and approach, resolve conflict, deliver tough messages with honesty and grace, and occasionally execute with limited information and ambiguity. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to play a major role in the HIT-enabled transformation of connected healthcare.


Activities:

Conduct cross-functional action team, providing support to adoption, incident management, and identification of coaching opportunities. Support deployment sites analysis of incidents related to Business Operations (Revenue Cycle) solutions, identify trends and root causes. Develop recommendations for resolution, ensure functional validation of burndown and closeout. Support development of communications to functional communities.


Basic Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience. An additional 8 years of relevant experience may be substituted for degree requirements
  • Must be well versed in lifecycle and project management methodologies
  • Experience managing Information Technology related projects
  • Experience in tracking costs, schedule, and performance progress
  • Understanding of core healthcare Revenue Cycle functions and relationship with clinical activity
  • Proficient in data analysis and communicating data-driven insights
  • Able to identify and mitigate risks in complex environment
  • Detail-oriented and proactive in incident resolution management
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business or related scientific /technical discipline


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the VA
  • Experience with Health IT Implementation and Business Operations
  • PMP or similar certification
