Job Description:

As Facility Technician, your chief responsibility will be to preserve the excellent condition and operational readiness of our facility in Morgantown, WV.


Tasks will include:

  • Conducting diagnostic assessments, scheduling, and performing repairs and maintenance on all plant equipment.
  • Develop preventative maintenance procedures, document completed work orders, and perform other assignments to ensure a safe, clean healthy, and efficient facility.
  • This is a physically active role requiring the ability to maneuver around heavy equipment including bending, climbing, crawling, manual dexterity, and frequently lifting and carrying objects weighing approximately 40 pounds. If you are a “Jack or Jill of all trades” with a strong knowledge of electrical, carpentry, and plumbing, this position would be a perfect fit for you!


Qualifications:

To qualify, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or GED, a minimum of 2 years’ maintenance work experience, and possess a boiler, welding, or electrical certification or license.
  • By law, you must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Preferred qualifications are an associate degree from a two-year college or technical school in a related field, knowledge of hazardous material handling, and OSHA training.
  • As you will interact with customers and internal staff, the ability to communicate in English is important.
  • The successful candidate will be required to pass a physical, drug test, and DEA background check.
