Piper Companies is looking for a Junior Business Analyst for a leading financial lender located in King of Prussia, PA.
Must have Financial experience
Responsibilities for the Business Analyst:
- Gather and translate business requirements into functional specs, leveraging Jira for tracking/ticketing
- Act as the liaison between the business and IT teams
- Manage Jira environment, performing administration tasks
Qualifications for the Junior Business Analyst:
- 2+ years as Business Analyst or Jira Systems Administrator
- Knowledge of Jira or similar software package
- Capable of creating functional specs through translation of business requirements
- Skilled in communication, highly adaptable, and capable of effective stakeholder management
- Financial services experience preferred
- Reporting or data related project experience preferred
- Experience working in agile scrum development methodology
- Proficient with Microsoft Office product suite
- Experience with SQL, JIRA, Confluence preferred
- Strong documentation/communication skills
- Critical thinker who is eager to learn
Citizenship status:
- US Citizens/Green Card Holders (sponsorship not available)
Compensation/Benefits for the Junior Business Analyst:
- $30-40/hr (12+ months)
