Project Service Manager – Nothum – Springfield, MO

Nothum Food Processing Systems is a family-owned, oriented, and operated local business. We are looking for a full-time Project Service Manager to join our team to be the main point of contact between internal departments and customers on major projects to create a seamless and positive experience for our customers.


Primary Function:

  • Responsible for managing installation, demonstrations, and testing of new Nothum Food Processing Equipment
  • Liaison between Sales, Customers, Engineering, Production, and Service to ensure that all new equipment is delivered and installed exactly as the Customer expects
  • Creates and maintains the delivery and installation schedule
  • Ensures all customer requests and expectations are implemented into the equipment and that it is designed to perform as promised
  • Visits with Customers prior to installations and during installs and testing
  • Work with Engineering to develop a set of design submittals and drawings and ensure customers signs-off
  • Conduct regular project meetings with project teams and Customer’s representatives
  • Ensure proper utilities are in place at the Customer’s facility
  • Works with Customers for installation and testing schedule
  • Works with Senior Service Administrator to ensure installation technicians are available to install or test equipment
  • Works with Parts Department to provide a parts package and list of critical parts
  • Delivers OEM manuals, parts lists, etc. to owners
  • Works with Service Management to set up PTCU Training
  • Works with R&D and Sales for testing and demonstrations
  • Ensures installation technicians are available for testing
  • Works with shipping to ensure equipment is delivered and picked-up
  • Helps coordinate Service, Engineering, R&D, and Sales on special projects
  • Other duties as assigned by Service Department Management
  • Reports to directly to Service Manager
  • Any other assigned responsibility from other members of the executive or senior team

Required Education and Experience:

  • 3 years Project Management experience
  • 3-5 years Industrial Mechanical and Food Processing experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management or Construction Management
  • Highly skilled in MS Office and Google Applications
  • MS Project and Procore experience a plus
  • Valid Driver’s License and US Passport

  • International >10%
