Senior Technical Program Manager – Amazon.com Services LLC – Bellevue, WA

  • 7+ years of experience working directly with engineering teams
  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
  • 5+ years of technical program management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience
  • Ability to clearly communicate projects status, issues and corrective actions to senior management
  • Ability to integrate development schedules from researchers, hardware, firmware, software and data science teams into an optimal overall schedule
  • Familiar with Agile and Scrum project management methods
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • You must have a strong sense of ownership combined with the ability to work independently to arrive at desired results

We are looking for an experienced, passionate, hard-working, and talented Technical Program Manager to join our fast paced, start-up like environment to help build new devices. As a TPM on this team, you will work with a cross-functional team to develop solutions to complex problems in the health and wellness space. In this role, you will:

  • Work with a cross functional team to create and manage an integrated program schedule
  • Communicate regularly with senior management on status, risks, milestones and required changes
  • Mitigate technical or business issues, and drive cost reduction activities
  • Work with the team to define requirements and track feature implementation
  • Coordinate factory builds, and help with ODM selection and negotiations

The ideal candidate will have industry-leading program management abilities and an established background leading complex projects from initial stages to a shipping product. You must be able to coordinate and plan activities across various disciplines to launch a project in a timely manner. If you are creative, customer focused, have a passion for solving complex problems, and enjoy working in a fast paced environment, this team is right for you.

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in mechanical, electrical, computer or software engineering
  • Good at proactively identifying issues before they become problems
  • Experience with high volume manufacturing
  • Experience with reliability testing and problem resolution
  • Experience with device and software development
  • Experience in troubleshooting and failure analysis
  • Experience in the medical device field
