LaMesa RV, a family owned and operated company, is currently hiring for a Reconditioning Technician to join our growing team. We are seeking mechanically inclined individuals willing to learn. Background might include apprentice backgrounds from HVAC, electrical, construction, plumbing, etc.
SUMMARY: Repairs coach and appliance related problems in RV’s within dealership and manufacturer quality and time standards. Requires manufacturer product-specific training.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Perform Pre-Delivery inspections on New and Used inventory as assigned by Recon Manager.
· Properly complete Work Authorization Forms and estimates for authorization either for sales or for manufacture warranty.
· Properly document inspections, tests, and work performed on Work Orders including cause and correction.
· Properly punch and fill out timecards for work performed.
· Perform quality repairs and inspections according to manufacture specifications on new and used inventory.
· Perform maintenance and upkeep on lot inventory to keep all inventory stays in sellable condition.
· Continue education and training as provided by La Mesa RV and manufactures.
· Maintain a safe and clean work environment and personal work space.
· If you work 5 hours or more, you must clock out for a ½ hour lunch break.
· No off-the-clock work.
· Other duties as assigned by the Recon or Service Manager.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Valid driver’s license
· Mechanical experience – HVAC, electrical, plumbing
