The overarching goal of the Sales Specialist is to enroll newly- or recently-diagnosed cancer patients in Thyme Care’s care navigation program.

You will serve people in the midst of a potential cancer diagnosis or people seeking a second opinion on their cancer diagnosis or treatment. During this critical and vulnerable time period, you will reach out to the patient to begin to provide comfort and support, and will educate them on Thyme Care’s cancer care navigation services. Your goal will be to enroll them in the Thyme Care program in a timely fashion, and to educate and refer them to cancer care providers in their community. The Sales Specialist will consistently focus on improving Thyme Care’s service offerings and communicating feedback to Thyme Care management.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Reach out to patients to inform them of Thyme Care’s services as they begin their cancer journey
  • Explain the value of Thyme Care’s services to patients, their caregivers and families, articulating how its fulfills their unique needs
  • Educate patients about community oncology options and their benefits
  • Encourage patients to enroll in Thyme Care’s program and, if appropriate for their diagnosis, select a community oncologist for their care
  • Build a foundation of trust with the prospective Thyme Care member to pave the way for future care navigation and care management
  • Execute the above outreach, education and enrollment within 1-3 interactions over the course of a few days


Required Education and Skills:

  • 3+ years experience in a sales role in relevant field, including: healthcare, wellness, home healthcare, senior services or products, community health, behavioral health, or caregiving
  • Driven by achieving results and maximizing outcomes
  • Passion for assisting people and their families during one of the most difficult and challenging times in their lives

  • Experience with Customer Relationship Management software, Google Suite, and/or comfort with learning new software applications
  • Stable and high-speed internet connection sufficient to work from home
  • Located within driving distance to our headquarters in downtown Nashville, TN.


Preferred Education and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

The salary for this position is competitive with the industry and includes commission-based pay; compensation also includes a comprehensive benefits package and potential for equity.
