RATER – DEPARTMENT ASSISTANT – Professional Insurance Associates, Inc – Roseville, CA

Full-time Rater / Department Assistant needed for fast-paced insurance office in Roseville. We are looking for a reliable, motivated self-starter who can provide excellent customer service as well as the ability to work as a team member in a collaborative and participatory manner.

Under general supervision, using computer systems to enter, transcribe, store and maintain information in electronic form, input data on online rating portals, process information and perform related duties as required. Our office is paperless, so computer proficiency is a must.

Salary Range: $17.00 per hour

Responsibilities


  • review applications for quoting, and update the central database
  • primary task will be entering information in to online rating systems
  • requesting information and answering questions both to our company partners and agents – primarily through email
  • arrange documents using adobe / pdf – and saving them in e-folders
  • perform minor clerical and related office tasks as assigned
  • assist team members as needed

Requirements


  • high school diploma
  • strong organizational skills and the ability to multi task
  • computer proficiency – MS Office application; outlook; internet; adobe
  • excellent customer service skills and ability to work in team environment
  • strong work ethic, professional demeanor and positive attitude
