RN/LPN Home Health – Flexibility! – Giving Home Health Care – Albuquerque, NM

This position will allow you to use your nursing skills in a rewarding, private duty, one-on-one nursing position that helps our patient live safely in the comfort of their home. This position is ideal for Nurses that want a change of pace from the hospital or clinical settings. We have something for everyone from high acuity patients to those who only need basic medical management. Our Nurses work as part of a team with other Nurses, Caregivers, and Case Managers.

We are currently seeking contracted RN/LPN’s to work with patients in the Albuquerque, NM area. We are looking for individuals with a variety of availability from days, evenings, weekdays, and weekends. As a Nurse with Giving you have control over what kind of schedule you work. We will work with you to find specific days and times that will benefit you and our patients.

*We also have traveling Nurse options available.

Requirements:

· Complete nursing assessment

· Monitor for changes in patient condition such as weight loss/gain, self-care abilities, indicators of disease progression

· Take Vitals

· Monitor GI intake and output

· Provide education and training to patient, family, and home health aide

· Medication management

· Communicate with third party providers and patients case manager

· Skin integrity and wound care

· Other duties based on patient care plan

· Must have dependable transportation and willing to travel to patient home

· Must have the ability to care for individuals from basic medical management up to the medically fragile end of life care

Preferred:

· Ability to assist with two person assist

· Willing to help patient with daily tasks such as transferring, bathing and other hygiene responsibilities as necessary with a supportive, friendly attitude

· Excellent communicator

· Ability to manage busy workloads & stressful situations

RN / LPN Qualifications:

· Candidate must have an RN or LPN license

RN / LPN Benefits:

· Compensation starts at $28 per hour for an LPN license and $38 per hour for an RN license
