Busy Internal Medicine practice located in Arcadia, CA seeking an EXPERIENCED PART TIME (30 hr/wk) medical office staff to take care of front desk duties.
Hourly pay to be determined based on experience. ******
Potential to train to manager if a good fit.
Main Duties:
- Must have a working understanding of major insurance plans
- Checking in patients, checking out patients
- Collecting copays
- Triaging/Answering phones
- Verifying insurances
- Authorizations and referrals
- Data entry
- Must be able to use Ten keypad
- Filing charts and pulling charts out
- Other duties as assigned.
- Long term (1+ year) commitment preferred.
Must be relatively fast at typing and familiar with computers.
Applicant must be willing to learn beyond their job description and be reliable. Applicants must be quick in learning as this is a very busy practice.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour
