JOB SUMMARY:
The Burn Unit within the Division of Trauma and Surgical Critical Care is seeking a Senior Administrative Assistant – Clinical. This job code is for those who need Electronic Medical Records access as part of their role. Performs administrative and business support related duties of a complex nature in support of an area with minimal guidance. This position will assist with special programs and projects including ABLS training, the SOAR project and Camp Hope. They will also assist with achieving the American Burn Association verification

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs a variety of administrative support which may include, but not limited to, scheduling, booking travel and budget reconciliation.
  • Assist with a complex call schedule
  • Provide calendar management
  • Complete provider time away requests
  • Pay and track membership dues and licenses
  • Manage provider CVs
  • Coordinate and complete FMLA paperwork
  • Schedule return appointments
  • Manage and work incoming calls
  • Ensures data/records are created and maintained to document financial, planning, correspondence, procedures, processes and other information.
  • Compiles data, analyzes information and summarizes findings in support of an area.
  • Prepares reports and other documentation as requested.

Position Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) and 4 years relevant experience.
