Avalon Care Center at Northpointe is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (NACs) for full time Day, and Evening shifts, as well as PRN!


Now offering $6/hour hazard pay for certain units worked (voluntary)!

Our Skilled Nursing Facility has some of the largest patient spaces in Spokane, with wide open day rooms and large, spacious patient rooms. We have Long term Care, Short Term Care, and a 20 bed sub-acute unit – totaling 119 beds when at full capacity!

WE ARE PREPARED FOR COVID-19! Join on with a company that is fully supportive and funded to protect not only its residents, but just as important – our employees. We provide PPE for our employees such as masks and face shields and if there is COVID-19 positive residents in the building we have added layers of protections such as N95 masks (we provide fit-testing), gloves, and full gowns. If we have any COVID-19 residents, they are placed in a separate COVID-19 Unit with dedicated staff for only that Unit. Still concerned? SCHEDULE: 8-hour shifts; XYZ 3 week rotation (in a 3 week period have every day off once, never work more than 4 days in a row (occasional exceptions), and 3 day weekends every third weekend! If PRN, use the On Shift app to pick up shifts you’re available to work!

Depending on site-specific Federal, State, and County requirements, future Avalon employees may be asked to participate in COVID-19 testing procedures as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities:


Ensure residents’ comfort while assisting them in achieving their highest practicable level of functioning as follows:

  • Assist residents with their activities of daily living.
  • Provide hygiene and oral care pursuant to plan of care.
  • Assist residents with dressing and grooming according to their needs.
  • Bathe residents with attention to privacy, respecting dignity and providing a safe environment.
  • Take and record temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure.
  • Maintain residents’ rooms in neat, orderly and clutter-free manner.
