Essential Job Functions:

Ø Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Talley history, solutions (business segments), applications, customer types, services and products

Ø Identify and report to sales team on market behavior and competitive trends

Ø Undertake responsibility for increasing sales revenue by developing and executing field call and call-out strategy to service accounts, mine existing customers for referral business and identify new business leads

Ø Submit an annual Business Plan to the Territory Director to review and track quarterly

Ø Build national account and key account revenue across territories

Ø Understand and use Prelude software and the Talley eCommerce website to service customers

Ø Utilize Sales Order Entry Guidelines to process Quotes and Purchase Orders

Ø Service all accounts by utilizing Maximizing Selling Opportunities best practices:

§ Follow up on Open Quotes and Open Orders

§ Contact assigned accounts on a regular basis with a prepared agenda

§ Know the customer’s current business and projects

§ Analyze order history, sales numbers, Open Quotes and Open Orders

§ Identify selling opportunities and increase existing customer revenue

§ Review and update pricing levels and matrices

§ Review credit history of customers and identify terms and limits change needs

§ Maintain updated contact information

§ Contact subject matter experts and sales team when necessary to service customer

§ Plan and execute market strategies and action items with the Sales Coordinators, Inside Sales Representatives, and Territory Director

§ Proactively prepare for future selling opportunities with pricing and inventory requirements

§ Negotiate pricing with vendors

§ Enter meaningful MACE (Marketing Activity Customer Entry) reports the same day or no later than seven days after the activity

§ Consistently follow up on action items to generate revenue

Ø Enter Quality Feedback Entries

Ø Develop new business revenue by utilizing Maximizing Selling Opportunities field sales call / call out best practices:

§ Identify new business leads

§ Manage prospects including leads assigned from the Business Development Administrator

§ Review prospect products, services, primary customers, locations

§ Determine the Customer Group

§ Present a sales presentation

§ Identify the carrier and/or project

§ Ask upsell questions

§ Contact subject matter experts when necessary to service leads

§ Proactively prepare for future selling opportunities with pricing and inventory requirements

§ Negotiate pricing with vendors

§ Enter meaningful MACE (Marketing Activity Customer Entry) reports the same day or no later than seven days after the activity

§ Consistently follow up on action items to generate revenue

Ø Provide Queue Support during desk time when in the office

Ø Participate In company sponsored events as assigned

Ø Complete product and process training as assigned

Ø Additional duties and responsibilities may be added by the direct supervisor

Knowledge, Skill and Experience Required:

Ø Minimum High School Education required; Bachelor’s degree preferred

Ø Field Sales experience preferred

Ø Wireless Industry experience (at least one year) preferred

Ø Product Application experience preferred

Ø Intermediate MS Excel, Word and Outlook skills

Ø Dynamic interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

Ø Strong organizational skills and time management skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
